Esimene ise tehtud pluus- First self-made blouse

Umbes 3 nädalat tagasi tuhlasin kangaste sahtlis ning leidsin 2 sobivat riidekangast, millest silmapaistev pluus valmis õmmelda. Seega otsisin välja lõike ja asusin tegutsema...Valmis sai alles 2 päeva tagasi, sest ma ei armasta väga õmmelda ning suhted õmblusmasinaga pole just kiita.

For about three weeks ago, while searching the cloths in the cupboard I found a perfect cloth, from which I was going to sew an outstanding blouse. So I found a perfect cut and started to act. Well it completed two days ago , beacause I am not really good sewer and furthermore I am not having a great relationship with my  sewing machine.


Kuid sellele vaatamata olen tulemiga rahul!
However, I am happy with the result!

Hea ost-A good purchase

Täna olin taas Telliskivi kirbuturul müüja rollis. Ilm oli iseenesest suurepärane, ainult, et soojakraade jäi väheseks. Müümise koha pealt nii palju , et nagu eestlasele kohale alguses ei saa vedama pärast ei saa pidama- üks eriti innukas noor naine ostis esimesel 4 eset ning teisel ringil küsis üle, kuule ega sa asju vahepeal juurde ei toonud-neid nagu ei olnud enne, seega ostis ta taas 2 eset :) Kokku suutsin müüa 70 euro eest- kuid alles on mul 60 euri, sest 9 euri eest sooritasin ühe hiilgama hea ostu. Nimelt minu kõrval müüs üks naine roosat õhulist särki, mis mul jalad nõrgaks võttis!

Today you could meet me again in Telliskivi flea market as a saleswomen. The weather was quite okay, but the atmosphere was cold. One very eager lady bought on the first round four items and at the second round she asked..hey have you brought something knew? So then she bought 2 other items. Well the grand total that I got was 70 euros, but I was able to keep only 60 euros beacause I found this great airy pink blouse for 9 euros- and I think it was a damn great buy!

Eestimaa hõnguline käsitöö- Estonian handicraft

Viimasel ajal on üha enam poodides kohata eestimaa teemalisi esemeid-alustades Kihnu mustriga riidekottidest ja lõpetades seinakelladega, mille puhul on saadud samuti inspiratsiooni maalähedasest teemast.
Sellega seoses tuli mul idee, et hakkan valmistama puidust, eestimaa sümboolikaga kõrvarõngaid.

In the recent times, it can be seen stores selling all kinds on Estonian National itmes- started with bags in Kihnu pattern and ending with wall-clocks- also inspired by down-to-earth theme. Taking into account the Estonian theme items, I decided to make wooden earrings which shows Estonian symbols ( swallow, cornflower ).

Here you can see the making process of the first pair of earrings:

1. Esmalt joonistan vineerile sümboolika, mida hakkan hiljem välja saagima.
    Firstly, I draw the symbol on the plywood, which shape I am going to saw later.

2. Teisalt võtan liivapaberi ning viilin teravad otsad kumeraks.
    Secondly I take the sandpaper and polish the sharp angles.

3. Siis puurin augud, kuhu asetada kõrvarõnga konksud.
    Then I drill a hole where to put the earring hook.

4. Viimane tegevus on puidu peitsimine.
    The last thing that needs to be done is varnishing.
